A ceramic coating is a protective layer applied over clean, prepared paintwork. Rather than sitting on the surface for a few weeks like a quick spray, it is designed to protect the finish for a set period: in our case, either around six months or around twelve months depending on the option you choose.
Think of it as a shield between your paint and everything the road throws at it. It does not change the colour of the car or hide the condition of the paint underneath, but it helps keep a well-prepared finish looking its best for longer.

The condition of your paint before coating matters. If it has light swirls and dullness, those will still be visible under the coating unless they are improved first. That is why we may recommend a stage one polish beforehand.
Deeper scratches, chips and damage are outside what a coating or a single polishing stage can fix. When you get in touch, tell us about the current condition of the paint and we will be upfront about what the finished result is likely to look like.

How long does the ceramic coating last?
We offer two options: a 6-month coating and a 12-month coating. Real-world performance also depends on how the car is used, washed and stored.
Do I need a polish before the coating?
Not always, but if the paint is dull or swirled, a stage one polish beforehand means you are sealing in a better finish. We will advise based on your paint.
Can you coat the windscreen and windows?
Yes. Glass ceramic coating is available and is intended to help water clear from the screens more easily.
Is ceramic coating the same as waxing?
Both protect the paint, but they are different services. Wax is a finishing layer that helps protect the paint between washes, while our ceramic coatings are offered as 6-month and 12-month protection options.
Will a coating hide scratches?
No. A coating protects the finish but does not correct the paint underneath. Polishing beforehand can improve the look of light swirls, but deeper scratches will remain.
